NEIGHBOURHOOD NATURE TRACKERS |
Radio Interviews
Mission
Tracker wanted to raise awareness of their continuing support of active lifestyles within families and provide a solution for those families who find getting out in green spaces difficult or boring. To do this, Tracker commissioned research revealing a surprising number of 18-24 year olds admitting to having little or no basic knowledge of nature. To discuss this further, Tracker used wildlife and science TV presenter, Kate Humble, along with Tony Lorman from Tracker who was involved in the research to discuss why children are losing interest in the outdoors and how families can inject some nature fun into their lifestyles. The campaign was a huge success and secured coverage on 9 BBC stations including BBC Radio Newcastle, BBC Radio Kent and BBC Radio Three Counties. Campaign in Numbers Tracker secured a reach of 1.09 million listeners with 2 hours 45 minutes worth of coverage. Tracker’s campaign secured a total of 16 items of coverage (including 9 BBC stations) up and down the UK. |
