LOCAL BUSINESS WEEK 2014 |
Radio Interviews & Digital coverage through Video/Press Release
Entrevo wanted to raise awareness of their services to entrepreneurs and business leaders and their ‘Key Person of Influence’ programme by utilising the media interest around Local Business Week 2014, a platform managed by The Relations Group reflecting on the challenges that smaller and local businesses face in the current climate with taking on corporate giants.
To achieve this, Entrevo commissioned research into what inspires people to start their own business using Mike Cherry, the National Policy Chairman at the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses), and Darshana Ubl, a CEO from Key Person of Influence as their spokespeople for a day of radio interviews. Mike and Darshana were able to discuss what can be done to support SME’s, the pitfalls of starting a business and gave their own expert advice to future entrepreneurs. Entrevo also utilised a digital route to coverage with a video news release and supporting press release surrounding the issues facing future business owners in a questionable market. The radio campaign received coverage on BBC Radio Devon, BBC Radio Suffolk, Big City Radio and Waves Radio, while the video and online article appeared on Yahoo Finance, Global Banking and Finance Review and the International Business Times. Campaign in Numbers Entrevo secured a reach of 887,000 listeners with 1 hour 46 minutes worth of coverage. Entrevo’s campaign secured a total of 16 items of radio coverage & 8 items of online coverage up and down the UK. |
