We Brits are famously a nation of tea fanatics, so to capitalise on this, BRITA wanted to associate themselves as a solution to water hardness that can affect the perfect 'cuppa' and link the brand to credible research regarding the nations tea drinking habits. The research commissioned by BRITA revealed for the first time a ‘Tea League Table’ of the UK, looking at the water hardness per area.
Jane Pettigrew, a specialist tea historian and writer, was able to discuss the research further, looking at the ‘identi-tea’ of particular areas (‘Brit brew’, ‘builders brew’, ‘baby-brew’ etc.) and how much difference water hardness makes on the perfect cup of tea. Coverage highlights include Sky News Radio, Smooth Radio, BBC Merseyside and BBC Cumbria. Campaign in Numbers BRITA secured a reach of 33.42 million listeners with 1 hour 14 minutes worth of coverage. BRITA’s campaign secured a total of 14 items of coverage up and down the UK. |
